It only took three days of nagging before my husband finished putting shelves in the pantry! Now all that crap is off the floor and neatly organized in our home “store”. My husband now has a midly happy wife. (Can’t be all the way happy - my “To Do” list is still quite lengthy)

It is officially Spring today…and I got a jump on the cleaning with the help of my husband. We made this pantry area under the stairs just off the kitchen and it never got the shelves put in. So after not quite a year of nagging - my husband graciously let me empty out the pantry so that he could put in shelves.

Not all the shelves are in and so all the stuff is still scattered through the dinning room - but he assures me tonight it will get finished. Let the nagging begin.

Crawford is calling me hideous… I think it is a sweet & nerdy kind of cute:

We have had the boiler since Thanksgiving and my husband and I finally got it running Sunday night! It took us all day…and thank goodness we did - it is awfully cold in the wind today! Yeah for HEAT! It smells so yummy. It makes me hungry for s’mores!

I don’t particularly care for gobs of makeup….but in the glossy magazines I flip through - that generally make me hate myself - I find I wish I could wear the smokey eyes or colorful shadows those gals wear. So I went out - bought one of those colorful makeup kits….and tried it out today! I still couldn’t go too heavy on the color - but be honest….do I look like a clown? I mean more than usual!?!?!

Or do I need a whole lot more?

It is my first Christmas in our new house and since it feels like Christmas time inside at 43 degrees - I figured it was ok to look like it too! Thought - as we were discussing holiday decorating (my husband and I) decided that the current tree is too large for the living room….as we won’t be able to see out the nice bay window. So we came to the agreement that we - more I - will be putting up two trees! I bought a skinner, REVOLVING tree and decorated it in blue, green & white…and the original big tree will go in the dinning room with out family ornaments!

The lights I bought for the tree have a  REMOTE!!! How lazy are we all that we can’t bend down and unplug the things!!! AAAHHHH! I thought it looks pretty though - and the icicles in the window look like they are dripping! LED lights are so cool!!!

Most people climb rock walls….I patch them….and I am tired of it already - and not even half done!

We have 1 week under our belts….and it was an interesting week!

I use the first hour of the show everyday to curl my hair…

And Kenny managed to get the training bottle back - for a little while!

…as I told those on the Tractor Tour with me last week - every time I went on a trip this year….a new-to-us piece of equipment came home….this is what came home while I was gone last week! We like all colors at our farm!
